Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support continuous production operations at our Savannah, GA facility. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on equipment reliability, process improvement, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical support for manufacturing and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing, OEM, engineering design, or continuous production environment and is comfortable working directly on the production floor with equipment, machinery, and process systems. This is not a desk-only engineering position. We need someone who can identify why equipment or processes are failing, determine the root cause, and work with operations and maintenance teams to develop solutions that prevent recurring issues. Responsibilities Provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment, processes, and continuous production systems. Troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues. Perform root cause analysis and use structured problem-solving methodologies such as Kepner-Tregoe or similar methods. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, schematics, equipment documentation, and manuals. Identify equipment and process improvements to increase reliability, safety, quality, and production performance. Translate complex technical and engineering information into practical instructions for operations and maintenance personnel. Partner with maintenance, operations, engineering, and other departments to resolve production and equipment issues. Support equipment modifications, upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects. Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Process Safety Management (PSM) activities as required. Apply multidisciplinary engineering knowledge when troubleshooting equipment and process systems. Create or modify technical drawings and engineering documentation as needed. Required Qualifications Engineering experience in a manufacturing, OEM, engineering design, industrial, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience supporting manufacturing equipment and process systems. Advanced ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and technical documentation. Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and structured troubleshooting methods. Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering fundamentals. Ability to effectively troubleshoot equipment and process failures. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to operations and maintenance personnel. Exposure to Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Process Safety Management (PSM), or similar industrial safety methodologies. Ability and willingness to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting continuous production equipment or process systems. CAD and design drafting experience. Experience with Autodesk products or similar CAD software. Experience troubleshooting and improving equipment reliability. Experience with continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as Kepner-Tregoe. Physical Requirements This is a hands-on manufacturing engineering position.
Candidates must be able to:
Frequently stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Frequently push, pull, carry, grasp, and handle equipment or materials. Occasionally lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently climb or descend to access production equipment. Perform repetitive motions and coordinated physical tasks. Safely work around and access manufacturing machinery and production equipment. Work Environment This position works directly within an industrial manufacturing environment.

What We're Looking For We are looking for an engineer who is technically strong, safety-conscious, and comfortable working directly on the production floor. The successful candidate should be able to work closely with maintenance and operations teams to determine why equipment or processes are failing, identify the root cause, implement corrective actions, and help prevent the problem from happening again.
