A31LExpBriEng7.28 Experienced Bridge Design Engineer A well-established, employee-focused engineering firm is seeking an Experienced Bridge Design Engineer to join its growing structural team. This is an opportunity to take a visible role in meaningful transportation projects that strengthen local communities—from municipal bridge work to projects completed alongside state transportation agencies and regional partners. What You'll Do Lead and support the analysis, planning, and design of bridge and transportation structure projects Prepare bridge designs, construction plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports Coordinate with public agencies, municipalities, counties, and internal civil engineering teams Support projects through construction with field reviews, coordination, and problem-solving Assist with project schedules, budgets, quality control, and overall project delivery Build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the structures practice Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as the team grows What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis 5+ years of U.S. bridge design experience PE license preferred, or the ability to obtain licensure Experience working with DOT standards, bridge design criteria, and public-sector projects Strong technical knowledge with increasing responsibility in bridge project delivery Ability to manage priorities and deliver quality work on schedule and within budget Clear communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach Why Consider This Opportunity?
