Manufacturing Engineer We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes across production. This is a hands-on engineering role working closely with Design Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and overall manufacturing performance. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for fabrication, welding, assembly, and finishing. Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives. Develop and improve tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes. Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects. Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues. Support PFMEA, process control, and quality improvement activities. Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing prints. Support new product introduction and implementation of new manufacturing processes. Assist with equipment selection, installation, and implementation. Support capital projects, facility improvements, and plant layout changes. Work directly with production teams to identify opportunities and resolve manufacturing issues. Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, and Operations on product and process improvements. Support engineering changes and manufacturing documentation. Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and OSHA requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field. Manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment. Experience with fabrication, welding, assembly, finishing, or heavy/agricultural equipment is preferred. Experience with 3D CAD/modeling software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar. Experience with MRP/ERP systems. Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience. Knowledge of DFM/DFA, tooling, fixturing, and manufacturing processes. Experience with PFMEA, process control, and quality systems. Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills. Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing/plant-floor environment. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. PE credentials are preferred but not required.
