$25,000-$35,000 flat payment with the first paycheck, depending on family size What this person will own Create, maintain and improve mBOMs, routings, work instructions and ERP manufacturing data. Translate eBOMs, drawings and process definitions into production-ready information. Ensure work orders reflect the correct sequence, materials, tooling, requirements and operating constraints. Implement engineering changes while preserving revision control, effectivity, configuration integrity and aircraft traceability. Resolve differences between ERP data and shop-floor execution through root-cause analysis and lasting corrective actions. Work with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Configuration Management to improve production readiness.
Work balance:
approximately 50% hands-on on the production floor and 50% at a computer. Required background 7-10 years doing manufacturing planning, including qualifying work within manufacturing engineering. Aircraft assembly knowledge and demonstrated ownership of implemented process improvements. Strong ERP experience, eBOM experience, eBOM/mBOM reconciliation, routings and production data structures. The site is moving from Epicor to SAP. Engineering change management, configuration control, effectivity and revision management. Tooling integration knowledge and familiarity with regulatory requirements affecting aircraft production. Practical shop-floor understanding, analytical problem-solving and the ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority. Preferred qualifications Technical degree preferred. PLM experience such as Teamcenter or a comparable system. AS9100 knowledge, MRP exposure, Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and digital work instructions. Relevant certifications are valued, not required.
Pay:
