Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Mold Design Engineering Intern located in our Buffalo Grove, IL site. Reporting to the Design & Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams. What a typical day looks like: Assist Engineering Team with continuous improvement project(s) Attend Design Status, Customer/Internal Review and Continuous Improvement Meetings Complete assigned work orders and provide 2D and 3D models Learn fundamentals of plastic injection mold design Update design guidelines and standards Work with the Tool Shop to obtain hands-on manufacturing experience Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment: Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment and interest in plastic injection molding process Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills Solidworks CAD and troubleshooting knowledge highly desired Previous internship experience a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university 3.0 minimum GPA Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois) $16.98 USD - $23.35 USD
