Overview We are a growing precision machine shop supporting the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. As we continue to expand under new ownership, we are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to bridge the gap between engineering and the shop floor. This is a highly technical, floor-focused role responsible for taking new parts from programming through full setup and proven production. Key Responsibilities Develop high-efficiency, multi-channel programs using PartMaker for Star Swiss machines Optimize synchronization and wait codes to maximize throughput and minimize cycle time Lead full setup and prove-out of new parts, including tooling, guide bushing alignment, and machine setup Ensure process stability, predictable tool life, and optimized cycle times prior to production handoff Select and implement tooling and high-pressure coolant strategies for optimal performance Troubleshoot machining issues including offsets, chatter, and process inconsistencies Support and mentor setup personnel as the on-the-floor technical expertQualifications Required:
7+ years of CNC machining experience, including 3+ years in a Manufacturing Engineer role Strong proficiency with PartMaker (Autodesk) Hands-on experience with Star Swiss machines (SR, SB, SV series) Experience setting up and programming Takisawa (Fanuc) and Haas (ST-series) lathes Deep understanding of Fanuc and Haas controls Ability to read complex blueprints and hold tight tolerances Ability to edit G-code and develop macros as neededPreferred:
