MicroLogix Program, maintain, and improve ABB robotic systems including IRC5 and S4C+ controllers. Support and troubleshoot Vacon AC Drives and Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drives (400, 750, and 755 series). Develop and maintain Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems utilizing Allen-Bradley PanelView and Wonderware MES platforms. Work with industrial communication networks including: Ethernet/IP Remote I/O Modbus TCP/IP Provide hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting support for manufacturing operations. Lead automation integration projects involving PLCs, robotics, HMIs, drive systems, and data collection technologies. Develop electrical control system designs and machine improvement projects. Create and maintain engineering documentation, standards, and operating procedures. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and safety. Drive continuous improvement projects focused on manufacturing efficiency and automation enhancements. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field. 8+ years of industrial controls engineering experience. Strong experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC platforms. Experience working with industrial robotics, HMI systems, and automated manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols. Demonstrated success leading projects from concept through implementation. Strong troubleshooting skills with both electrical and mechanical systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support operational needs. Ability to work flexible hours when required to support production and project implementation.
