The Manufacturing Engineer I provides technical support to production operations, assists with process development, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on troubleshooting basic process issues, maintaining documentation, and contributing to productivity and optimization efforts.
Job Duties:
Provide technical support to troubleshoot basic process issues and assist operators in maintaining workflows.

Assist in creating and documenting basic manufacturing processes.

Collect data to evaluate process capability and identify minor production issues.

Maintain and update production documentation including SOPs and work instructions.

Support project tracking, documentation, and execution of basic project tasks.

Assist with productivity improvement initiatives.

Collect and organize production data using spreadsheets and related tools.

Support basic cost analysis and manufacturing optimization efforts.

Assist with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA).Support equipment selection, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance activities.

Apply Lean Manufacturing principles in daily activities.

Participate in APQP tools and systems.

Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or 6+ years of equivalent manufacturing experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Proficiency with spreadsheets and data collection tools.
