What You Will Do:
Researching new materials and competitive products. Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes. Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Overseeing the efforts of drafting and testing specialists. Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents. Participating in buy-build analysis for product components. Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports. Requires a degree in accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.What You Will Have:

Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.Computer-Aided Design & Engineering:
Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyze, simulate and test product design drafts. Product Design•MFG:
Knowledge of processes, approaches, tools and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.Product Design and Development:
Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production. Consideration forTop Candidates:
Experience with CREO- Cabling/harness Tool, Electrical Harness/Cable Routing, Electrical Drawing Creation, or related experience. Experience with CREO
- Sheet metal, solid modeling, contouring, light fabrications drawing creation, or related experience.
Caterpillar Products Additional Information:
The primary location for this position is Tucson, Arizona with alternative locations in Mossville, IL. Domestic relocation is available for candidates willing to relocate to Tucson, AZ. Sponsorship is available at this time. #LI Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00- $169,060.
