It is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as the company may deem necessaryWork closely with Production cells to prevent and resolve problems with products and/or tooling/fixtures/machineryAnalyze and design manufacturing cells that conform to Lean Manufacturing standardsDevelop technical procedures for HydraForce manufacturing processesTroubleshoot and isolate production failures Determine and eliminate root causes and diminish occurrences in the manufacturing process.
Collect data and develop technical reports based on production (statistical analysis in Minitab)Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); Support all current and new product introductionEnsure all manufacturing safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all timesStay informed concerning new manufacturing technologies and equipment in order to manufacture and reduce cost through quality and efficienciesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree with an emphasis in Mechanical EngineeringThree to Five years previous manufacturing engineering experience requiredExperience in tool design and modifications, 3D Modeling requiredAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving capabilitiesKnowledge of machining and materials, preferredSecondary process knowledge, preferredRobust knowledge or manufacturing standardsStrong Blueprint knowledgeHands-on, team oriented and committed to business improvement processesSelf-motivated with a strong work ethicProcess-oriented mentalityBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or six sigma methodologyProficient with the Microsoft Suite SoftwareStrong written and verbal English communication skillsPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
