Job Description

MRO Manufacturing Engineer (Onsite):

In this role the candidate will be responsible for engineering support to the operations department in an FAA repair station performing maintenance, repair and overhaul of aerospace products, primarily ram air turbines, electric power generation and actuation systems hardware. This position will interact with all levels of the organization and external customers.

Support and collaborate with customer engineering resources supporting a Collins product including hosting customer engineering on the Collins Shop floor.

Tool design and procurement

Creation and maintenance of 3D printed tool management system

Creation and maintenance of repair documentation including job instruction sheets, procedures, and packaging instruction

Design and implementation of tooling shadow boards throughout the repair station

Support research for new equipment needs along with procurement

Provide daily support to the engineering team

Provide daily support to the repair mechanics and test operators

Prefered:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Aerospace) or a related discipline.

With out degree: 2+ years engineering experience preferred - mechanical and/or product support.

Citizenship - US Citizen/US Person only
