Job Description
Key responsibilities include crafting precision tooling, gauges, and fixtures according to the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) framework. You'll produce vital design outputs such as 3D model representations, detailed schematics, comprehensive engineering data, and essential wear allowances required for manufacturing processes. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including setup and engineering personnel, is essential to enhance process efficiency, resolve production challenges, and contribute to continuous improvements. Qualifications sought for this role include a technical proficiency in advanced design and analysis methods for press tools, fixtures, gauges, and assemblies integral to component production. Recent graduates with a passion for tool design and a formal background in engineering (A.S. or B.S.) are encouraged to apply.
