OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to implement and maintain quality and engineering processes while ensuring the quality of manufactured products from raw materials through final production. This role works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments to improve production efficiency, product quality, safety, and overall process performance. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing quality experience, a solid understanding of quality systems, and the ability to lead corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, document, and implement process control methods, including SPC, testing, and inspection. Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive solutions. Lead quality and process improvement projects while managing timelines, resources, and communication. Conduct internal quality system audits and support ongoing compliance. Lead CAPA activities and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution. Lead APQP activities to support product and process validation and verification. Develop and maintain quality metrics and reporting tools. Analyze historical quality and production data to identify trends and prevent recurring issues. Utilize quality and engineering tools including DOE, DFM, FMEA, GD&T, process capability, and Six Sigma methodologies. Participate as a member of the Material Review Board and assist with failure analysis and product disposition. Develop and conduct blueprint reading training for new employees and support additional quality training programs in coordination with Human Resources.

REQUIREMENTS

5-7 years of recent, relevant Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality control. Strong knowledge of

ISO 9001

quality systems and audit requirements . Experience conducting internal quality audits. Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, GD&T, and process improvement. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments. Bilingual Spanish, including the ability to read and speak Spanish, is preferred. Automotive manufacturing and

IATF 16949/ISO 16949

experience is preferred.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred.
