Job Description

Do You Have Real Estate Accounting Experience? Come Run The Corporate Books Behind Our Growing Property Management Company! We are hiring a Corporate Accountant! GC Realty & Development has spent 23 years growing a property management and brokerage company, and the corporate books have grown right along with it. We manage roughly 1,500 units for 500+ private investors across more than 100 Chicagoland suburbs, and none of that works if the corporate books do not close clean every month. This seat owns the company side of that, not the property level accounting and will work out of our office Monday-Friday in Roselle. You will own the corporate general ledger in QuickBooks Online, run weekly payroll through Gusto, manage assigned corporate bank accounts, and keep corporate accounts payable current. You will report to the Director of Finance and work alongside the Staff Accountant on intercompany netting at month end. QuickBooks Online and weekly payroll are what you need on day one.

Company funded reading program worth up to $500 per year

Maintain corporate accounts payable in QuickBooks Online and resolve unreconciled amounts on a timely basis.
Support Month End Close:
Prepare schedules for internal financial reporting, keep payroll and cash items current on the close calendar, and support intercompany netting with the Staff Accountant.
Track Brokerage Accruals:
Manage brokerage commission income accruals and reversals, and support Brokermint payout reconciliation as directed.
Coordinate Benefits And Vendors:
Handle benefits deductions, corrections, and vendor follow up, and support related contractor or supplemental pay platforms as directed.
