$100,000-$115,000 + holiday bonus (based on experience) Full Benefits Sterling Engineering is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a well-established, industry-leading manufacturer with decades of success. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you'll have true ownership over manufacturing processes, equipment, and new product development. If you enjoy taking products from concept to production, working closely with cross-functional teams, and being the go-to technical expert on the floor, this is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact while advancing your career in a stable, growth-oriented environment with 4th generation ownership.Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and fixtures to optimize quality and efficiency Serve as the subject matter expert for machinery, equipment, and production capabilities Lead new product development efforts, taking designs from concept through production launch Evaluate product designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance improvements Support product and component testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives Manage engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, routings, and engineering change notices Collaborate with suppliers on component design, material selection, and manufacturability improvementsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, or production environments Strong background working with metals, CNC machining, tooling, dies, and fixtures Proven experience taking products from concept through production and scaling processes Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar) for product and tooling design Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.Similar remote jobs
