Job Description
Rolls Royce Motor Cars seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design, optimize, and support high precision production processes for ultra luxury vehicles. You will develop workflows, tooling, and fixtures that enhance quality, efficiency, and safety while upholding Rolls Royce's craftsmanship standards. Partnering with design, quality, and production teams, you'll solve complex manufacturing issues, support new model introductions, and drive continuous improvement using lean tools in a detail driven, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Design and optimize manufacturing processes for ultra-luxury vehicle components and assemblies Implement and refine production workflows, tooling, and fixtures to improve quality and efficiency Analyze production data to reduce defects, waste, and cycle times Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues Support new model introductions and process industrialization Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Document standard work, process instructions, and control plans Drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma methodologies Required Skills Manufacturing process design CAD and 3 D modeling GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) CNC and precision machining processes Lean manufacturing Six Sigma and statistical process control (SPC) PFMEA and control plan development Assembly line layout and optimization Root cause analysis and problem-solving (8 D, DMAIC) Automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001)
