Job Description

Rolls Royce Motor Cars seeks a T56 / Helo Component Design Engineer to develop, improve, and validate complex rotating and static engine components for ultra luxury applications. You will own the full design lifecycle: concept, detailed 3D/2D definition, analysis collaboration, prototyping, testing support, and manufacturing release. Partner closely with stress, materials, and manufacturing engineers to ensure performance, safety, and cost targets. Apply GD&T and aerospace standards, run DFMEAs, and manage configuration and change. You'll work in a precision driven, collaborative culture that blends craftsmanship with cutting edge engineering and offers global career paths. Responsibilities Design and develop T56/helicopter engine components from concept through release Create and manage 3 D models and detailed engineering drawings with full GD&TCollaborate with stress, materials, and manufacturing teams to meet performance, cost, and quality targets Support FEA, test planning, and test result interpretation for component validation Drive DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and design reviews to ensure safety and reliability Support suppliers and manufacturing with tooling, methods, and producibility improvements Lead engineering change and configuration management for assigned hardware Investigate field and test issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement design corrections Ensure compliance with aerospace and company standards, procedures, and safety requirements Contribute to continuous improvement of design methods, tools, and best practices Required Skills Aerospace component design3 D CAD (CATIA/NX/Solid Works) GD&TGas turbine engine fundamentals Finite element analysis collaboration Aerospace materials and manufacturing processes DFMEA and DFM/DFAEngineering drawings and tolerancing Configuration and change management Testing and validation support
