Supplier Quality Engineer Job Details Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st
Shift Location:
North Vernon, IN Supplier Quality Engineer Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred Previous experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality required Knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and root cause analysis Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills About the Supplier Quality Engineer Role As a Supplier Quality Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance Work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions Conduct supplier audits and quality assessments Review engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements Investigate product defects and perform root cause analysis Support new product launches and supplier qualification activities Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams Ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards Maintain quality documentation and inspection records Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve supplier performance Why Work With Our Client Once hired on, employees can expect: Direct hire opportunity Competitive salary based on experience First shift, Monday-Friday schedule Career growth and advancement opportunities Stable manufacturing environment Collaborative and team-oriented workplace
