Full-Time Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a background in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing to support and optimize thermal sterilization processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with process improvement, equipment validation, and new equipment installation in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize thermal sterilization and manufacturing processes. Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment. Perform equipment and process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ). Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and drive continuous improvements. Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and R&D teams. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related). 4+ years of Process or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a Food or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment. Experience with thermal processing/sterilization (Retorts, Autoclaves, Pasteurization, etc.) . Hands-on experience with
IQ/OQ/PQ
validation and new equipment installation. Strong troubleshooting and continuous improvement skills.
Preferred:
Experience with retort systems and process authority. Knowledge of SQF, GMP, or other regulated manufacturing standards. #
