Manufacturing Process Engineer

Summary The Manufacturing Process Engineer will oversee the equipment performance at Mills to ensure optimal performance. This position partners with department managers and supervisors to maintain/ improve production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor milling equipment to ensure optimal performance; foresee potential issues and recommend corrective actions Ensure the milling and shipping process runs efficiently; partner with Shipping Manager on process Review equipment downtime and asses root cause/ recommend corrections to Operations Manager Perform regular equipment inspections; evaluate and recommend equipment improvements and upgrades Manage all company equipment assets; Manager Plus software for equipment schedules and repairs, track parts needed and manage orders Work with managers to asses equipment performance and needs Drive work orders for Maintenance Department Perform other duties directed by your Supervisor Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
