Job Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities:

+ Communicate and interface with team members, representatives from other departments, and customers regarding problem/opportunity definitions, project scope, and project status. + Develop test plans to evaluate performance of materials, products, and system solutions. + Conduct and participate in ongoing design reviews and brainstorming sessions. + Own new product design discissions from concept through implementation with considerations for performance, reliability, and manufacturability. + Create engineering documentation including design intents, test reports, and project reports. + Evaluate and interpret test data and results to determine product life and performance expectations. + Create complete and robust 3D CAD models including full product assemblies. + Own or participate in + Project scoping + Specification development + Concept development + Prototyping + Test plan development + Testing and evaluation + Field testing + Release process

Requirements:

+ Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline + 8+ years engineering design experience + Solid modeling experience in SolidWorks, Pro-E, Inventor, or similar software + Proven ability to perform technical analysis, design, and optimization using engineering methods and equations. + A self managed individual who excels in a team environment + Available in office 5 days per week + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency in

MS Office Suite Desired Skills:
