full-time Manufacturing Engineer Cambridge, MA We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and manufacturing of innovative medical devices. This hands-on role will focus on prototype testing, test method development and validation, manufacturing process improvements, and design transfer to contract manufacturers. The ideal candidate will bring experience in medical device manufacturing, mechanical testing, and working in a regulated GMP environment.

•Please note-this is an onsite opportunity that does not offer relocation Key Responsibilities Evaluate and document testing jigs, fixtures, and methods to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and reliability. Develop and validate test methods and inspection procedures for catheter prototypes and manufacturing processes. Execute prototype testing and generate testing data, evaluation reports, and supporting documentation. Manage lab inventory, prototyping materials, vendor relationships, and supply chain logistics to support design verification. Identify and implement process improvements and support design/process transfers to contract manufacturers. Review engineering drawings and documentation for Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles and support development of medical device design outputs. Support equipment validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, and maintain required documentation within the QMS. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing engineering, R D engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of GMP and experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with mechanical testing fixtures/jigs, Gage R&R, measurement accuracy, and test method validation. Experience with disposable medical device manufacturing, mechanical design, prototyping, and process improvement. Knowledge of injection molding, polymers, medical device materials, and metal processing. Experience with BOMs, ECRs, QMS documentation, and FMEA. Proficiency with CAD, preferably SolidWorks; experience with

IQ/OQ/PQ

is preferred.
