), making smart build-vs-buy decisions. Design test fixtures and mechanical interfaces for device-under-test (DUT) handling and testing. Balance speed (quick turn processing techniques) and precision appropriately for the build stage. Develop and maintain test sequences/software and/or partner with software/controls teams to ensure proper version control, configuration management, and calibration procedures. Analyze test data to drive quality and design improvements — identify trends, correlate test failures to root cause, and feed actionable insights back to design and process engineering. Close the loop between test floor observations and the next design iteration. Define and evolve test coverage strategy as builds shift from development to production scale. Own "ready to test" as part of the broader build readiness process. Drive test system reliability and uptime — manage calibration schedules, develop troubleshooting guides, and train technicians and operators on test execution and basic fault recovery. TestStand, Python-based test automation or custom solutions) and DAQ/instrumentation specification.
