Our mission is to be the leading engineering consultancy providing excellence and sustainable mobility solutions to North America and the world as a key member of the global AVL network to help improve vehicle safety and reduce emissions. MTI is looking for a motivated engineer to join our team. We are specifically looking for a Project Engineer I - Design to provide technical expertise to cross-functional business development and engineering program team execution activities. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Employer will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this position.
Roles:
Plans and formulates workflow of self to meet specified deadlines with minimum of supervision 3D Design/engineering responsibility for components and sub systems 2D Detailing and preparation of manufacturing documentation Use and understanding of data management tools (Windchill, Teamcenter) Resolves engineering and design conflicts Some system management responsibilities Support for all system engineering tasks relating to system responsibility i.e. Architecture Resolving design constraints and establishing interfaces DFMEA's, DVPR's BOM input Coordinating input from other skill teams as required i.e., Analysis
