Job Description
Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer responsible for hands-on process engineering, validation, tooling, gaging, and manufacturing support within foundry, casting, and metals-based production environments. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering 3-10 years of relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience Hands-on manufacturing engineering experience Experience with process validation Experience with GD&T Experience with CMM inspection Experience with gaging and measurement systems Experience in foundry or casting environments Experience with metals and materials engineering Experience with wax injection tooling and/or injection molding processes Experience supporting manufacturing processes on the production floor Experience with process troubleshooting and production support Preferred Skills Experience with statistical analysis Minitab experience CAD experience Siemens NX experience Windchill experience Fixture and gage design experience Brazing experience Investment casting experience Wax injection process experience Materials engineering experience Process engineering experience within metals manufacturing Job Responsibilities Support manufacturing and process engineering activities directly on the production floor Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes Execute process validation activities and maintain validation documentation Support foundry, casting, wax injection, and related metals manufacturing processes Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and implement corrective actions Apply GD&T requirements to manufacturing and inspection processes Develop and maintain gaging and measurement strategies Support CMM inspection and dimensional verification activities Analyze manufacturing process data and capability Use statistical analysis tools to evaluate process performance Support tooling, fixture, and gage development and improvement Evaluate materials and process interactions affecting product quality and manufacturing performance Support wax injection tooling and molding processes Implement process improvements to improve manufacturing capability, quality, and production performance Maintain applicable manufacturing and process documentation
