JOB SUMMARY QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related engineering field. 8+ years of aerospace structures / Nacelle quality or manufacturing experience. 4+ dedicated Aerospace experience. Define, control, and validate manufacturing processes and operational sequences for existing & New Product Introduction (NPI). Hands on experience on implementing control factors such as conrols plans & process maps which are identified from PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) to reduce, detect and control in preferably aerospace structures / Nacelles Analyze cycle times, scrap rates, and labor hours to eliminate waste using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Continuous Improvement:
Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and lower the Cost of Quality (COQ). Works on Root Cause, Corrective Action with some guidance using established RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, Apollo, 5 WHYs, 8D, etc.). Manufacturing experience, including knowledge of ISO9000 or AS9100. Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia/3dx preferred) Strong understanding of Aircraft structures / Nacelles, design guidelines, composite and metallic failure modes. Preferred Skills Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical views that translate raw data into clear operational insights and recommended actions. Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
