Job Description Collaborate with cross-functional product development and manufacturing teams to support new product introductions and process improvements. Participate in and lead design reviews to ensure manufacturability and operational efficiency. Apply Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles and Lean methodologies to improve manufacturing processes. Design, develop, and implement automated equipment and production systems to support business objectives. Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and related technical documentation. Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and other electromechanical control systems. Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and automation initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance. Identify capital equipment needs, evaluate suppliers, support vendor selection, and assist with capital project execution. Develop standardized work instructions, operating procedures, and training documentation. Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process-related issues while supporting maintenance and operational teams. Establish and maintain production standards and best practices. Drive risk mitigation initiatives aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Promote and support compliance with site safety standards and operational procedures. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and production personnel to identify opportunities for process improvement. Provide technical support to production teams and operators as needed. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution. 5+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
