Wiring Harness Design Engineer -

Short-Term Contract Location:

Brighton, MI Pay:

$30-$35 per hour, depending on experience

Duration:

Approximately 1-2 months

Schedule:

Full-Time | 40 hours per week Put Your Wiring Harness Expertise to Work! Are you an experienced engineer or designer with a strong background in wiring harness design ? We are seeking an experienced professional for a short-term contract assignment with an established company in Brighton, Michigan. This individual will work alongside the engineering team and provide valuable expertise to help improve wiring harness drawings and fabrication documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, solving technical challenges, and helping develop less-experienced engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:

Review existing wiring harness drawings and documentation. Help improve drawing clarity and fabrication instructions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior or less-experienced engineers. Share best practices related to wiring harness design and fabrication. Identify opportunities to improve documentation and manufacturing instructions. Work collaboratively with the engineering team to support project needs.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience with wiring harness or wire harness design is required. Experience reviewing engineering drawings and fabrication instructions. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement in engineering documentation. Comfortable mentoring, coaching, or sharing technical knowledge with less-experienced engineers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Engineering, design, electrical systems, or related technical background preferred.
