The Engineer Process Coordinator works with a team and conducts a variety of tests on raw materials, subassemblies, and parts to ensure that parts are within specified standards and meet applicable specifications. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer all facets of the company Quality System, including
ISO 9001
2015 requirements and experience. Support the establishment of performance metrics linked to business objectives, take corrective action as required, and report on progress. Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Program Management, and customers. Lead efforts to address Quality audits and non-conformances at various suppliers. Demonstrate proficiency with high-precision measurement tools, including various micrometers and gauges, Faro Arm, CMM, and laser measurement equipment. Calibrate test instruments according to specifications. Confer with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding testing procedures and results, and work collaboratively to resolve problems. Perform other duties as assigned. Resolve issues with colleagues and other business organizations in a way that appears seamless to the customer. Listen to and fully understand customer needs. Bring the voice of the customer into all conversations and actions. Determine whether the customer is also a customer of other business organizations and collaborate to ensure a seamless customer experience. Education and Professional Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred. Four years of experience in quality, with two years in leadership positions. Six Sigma, Process Improvement, or Lean Manufacturing experience and training preferred. Creative and change-oriented Continuous Improvement process skills required. Extensive GD&T experience, with the ability to interpret requirements for the Quality team, including form, fit, and function. Minimum of one year of CMM and Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment. Stamping press experience preferred. PolyWorks and PC-DMIS experience preferred.
