Job Description:
We're on the lookout for a hands-on Advanced Manufacturing Engineer ready to make an impact in a cutting-edge, clean-tech manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in equipment design, process optimization, and scaling manufacturing operations. If you enjoy being at the center of building and launching new production systems while collaborating cross-functionally, we want to hear from you. What You Will Be Doing Specify, design, and support the build of manufacturing equipment, including writing RFQs and managing supplier interactions Lead equipment installation and commissioning activities, including FAT/SAT and ramp to production Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and overall performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain) to ensure successful equipment launches Present equipment designs and updates in design reviews with leadership and scaling teams Support PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and capability studies for new processes Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives Partner with contractors and integrators to install equipment and infrastructure for new manufacturing lines Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and is properly validated for production use Help develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategies Support training of operations teams on equipment functionality and safety What We Need From You Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field Demonstrated experience with new equipment design, builds, installation, and debugging. Extensive experience in commissioning new equipment. Experience with material application equipment and technology, such as roll coating, nozzle dispense, digital printing and pad printing.
