Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing systems to enhance productivity, quality, and safety across our production facilities. Your expertise will help streamline operations, implement cutting-edge technologies, and foster continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of manufacturing innovation within a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to delivering high-quality products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Adhere to Paragon Metals Safety Practices and Procedures. Work with Associates to provide relevant training, mentoring, and information for their job. Work interdependently, adhering to company policy, procedures, and best practices. Accomplish objectives on time and within budget or escalate in time to develop a recovery plan. Participate in Technical Reviews with the Customer. Maintain professional attire, conduct, and ethics. Develop and update Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans. Identify and prioritize sources of variation including material, equipment, and measurement. Manage KPIs and initiate action items to improve safety, throughput, quality, or communication. Participate in and react to actions created from Layered Process Audits. Reinforce "best practices" when interacting with Associates. Identify process constraints, recommend, and implement improvements. Participate in and lead problem-solving activities. Compile and evaluate data, recognize trends, potential problems, and patterns. Competency and Qualifications To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following: Ability to get along with others with excellent interpersonal skills. Maintain confidentiality. Communicate clearly and completely while working with Associates. Treat people with respect and maintain professionalism. Excellent attendance is required to perform this job effectively. Education/Experience (Preferred): 6+ years of experience in Engineering (precision machining). Degree in Engineering or related field preferred CNC programming experience. Understanding of Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing. Strong ability to work well in a Team environment. Competency in SolidWorks. This job description outlines the core responsibilities and qualifications required for the Manufacturing Engineer position. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
