Job Description

Looking for several Machine Design Engineers for growing machine builders in the Holland, MI area. The main focus of this role will be to create new and improve existing machinery designs. The Machine Designer / Project Engineer will be responsible for concepting and designing custom automation equipment using SolidWorks. Machine Design Engineer:
Create, design and layout special machines utilizing engineering principles, knowledge and related experience Conceptualize machine designs and select materials Create models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks software Size mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, pulleys, sheet metal, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics and piping Provide machine assembly and troubleshooting support Desired requirements of the
Machine Design Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but may not be required with the right experience Prior experience as a Machine Designer, preferably material handling, assembly or automation SolidWorks software experience, but Inventor, CREO, Pro-E, AutoCAD or any 3D software experience will be considered Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, servos is a plus Technical ability, team-oriented and attention to detail Project Engineering experience is a plus Structural experience is a plus Must be a US citizen or have a Green Card Compensation and benefits: The starting pay for these positions range between $75,000 - $110,000/year, depending on experience Medical, dental and life insurance, 401k match, paid time off, bonuses and flexible schedule
