We are AS9100 certified and NADCAP accredited, committed to delivering world‑class quality, safety, and compliance across all operations. Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer with strong experience in- Heat Treat. The ME is responsible for supporting and improving all heat‑treating processes within the facility. This role ensures parts meet metallurgical requirements, quality standards, and customer specifications while driving efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain heat‑treat processes including hardening, tempering, annealing, carburizing, and stress relieving. Create and update process documentation, work instructions, and heat‑treat recipes. Monitor furnace performance, temperature uniformity, and equipment calibration to meet AMS, NADCAP, and customer requirements. Troubleshoot heat‑treat issues such as distortion, hardness variation, microstructure deviations, and quench performance. Support metallurgical testing, hardness checks, and microstructure evaluations. Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for heat‑treat nonconformances. Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance to ensure consistent process control. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, improve throughput, and enhance process reliability. Assist with NADCAP audits, compliance documentation, and corrective action responses. Support new product launches and develop heat‑treat process flows for new parts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field. Experience with heat‑treat operations in aerospace or precision manufacturing preferred. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and metallurgical requirements.
