With an interdisciplinary team of around 9,000 experts, EDAG develops unique mobility and industrial solutions for customers that include the world's leading automotive and non-automotive companies This is how you will grow: Provide expert support to the project team in planning and implementing assembly equipment and systems Coordinate onsite preparation activities for final assembly projects, ensuring readiness and alignment with project timelines Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including general contractors, to ensure effective communication and execution Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; proactively identify and mitigate risks Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all project processes, plans, and implementation activities Support coordination and control of multiple assembly planning activities across cross-functional teams Oversee and support conveyor system planning, installation, and integration within the assembly environment Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives related to assembly equipment and workflows Ensure all deliverables meet quality, completeness, and compliance standards
Requirements:
This is how you will take us forward: Required Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in final assembly projects, particularly in onsite preparation and coordination Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and site coordination within manufacturing environments Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and execution Experience coordinating multiple activities within assembly planning and project environments Solid understanding of plant engineering processes, including equipment installation and commissioning Experience with assembly equipment and conveyor-related project processes Technical Skills Strong expertise in automation systems, including PLCs and corporate/industry standards (e.g., VASS6) Knowledge of SMDS systems and functionality Advanced proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Microsoft Teams Jira Confluence Language Requirements Fluent in English (written and spoken) German proficiency required; native or near-native preferred Core Competencies Strong organizational and coordination skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving and proactive decision-making mindset Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely completion of project milestones and deliverables Accuracy and completeness of project documentation Effectiveness of coordination across teams and stakeholders Reduction of delays and risks in assembly equipment implementation Quality and readiness of assembly systems at project handover
