Job Description

Controls Engineer responsible for programming, integrating, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial automation and control systems using Rockwell PLC, GM standards, Ignition SCADA, and Beckhoff EtherCAT technologies. Job Requirements Experience programming Rockwell PLC systems Experience with GM controls standards, including GCCS and/or FACS Experience with Ignition SCADA Experience with Beckhoff EtherCAT industrial communication systems Experience with industrial automation and machine control systems Preferred Skills Experience integrating PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication networks Experience commissioning automated manufacturing equipment Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems Experience with automotive manufacturing control systems Job Responsibilities Develop and modify Rockwell PLC programs for automated equipment Implement controls systems according to GM GCCS and/or FACS standards Configure and integrate Ignition SCADA applications Configure and troubleshoot Beckhoff EtherCAT networks and devices Integrate PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, field devices, and industrial communication networks Commission and debug automated manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot controls hardware, software, and industrial network issues Support equipment startup, testing, and production implementation Maintain and modify existing automation programs and control system configurations
