Months Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer supports production operations by developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes, tools, and workflows. This role ensures products are built efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality, cost, and delivery targets while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with manufacturing engineers to provide support to production operators and technicians in the form of fixture design and work instructions. Design fixtures in CAD, create engineering drawings and properly document and release the fixtures. Primarily focused on creating fixtures used for welding and brazing. Become proficient in key operations software such as SAP, Creo, and Teamcenter. Adapts machine or equipment design to conform to standard factory and production procedures. Provides guidance for engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Properly document and report your work.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
