Job Description:
We're seeking a hands-on Swiss Engineering Tech to support the machining department that houses Swiss and Mill machines. The Engineer would support machining, programming, and continuous improvement initiatives within a precision manufacturing environment. If you're a Swiss CNC Programmer ready to do more than write code and want real influence over process design, tooling, and continuous improvement, this role is built for you!!
Pay:
$35.00-$45.00 per hour
Day Shift Minimum Hours:
45.5 hours per week
Start Time:
Flexible (within reason)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday:
6:00 AM - 4:30
PM Friday:
6:00 AM - 11:30
AM Overtime:
Overtime is paid for any time worked beyond 5.5 hours on
Fridays Night Shift Schedule:
Monday-Thursday:
5:00 PM - 5:00
AM Shift Differential:
20% night shift premium Key Responsibilities Program CNC machines using prints and 3D models Set up machines and develop capable, repeatable, and efficient machining processes Select tooling to balance performance and cost Create work instructions and process documentation Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on cycle time, tooling optimization, and overall efficiency Support process validations, testing, and quality checks Troubleshoot machining processes on a daily basis Manage BOM/BOO updates within the ERP system Assist with tooling design and provide input for quoting activities Required Qualifications 2-3 years experience setting up and programming Swiss and CNC Mill machines Experience within continuous improvement initiatives Proficiency in CAD/CAM Strong understanding of G-code Solid computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience in fixturing or tooling design Background in precision manufacturing Knowledge of LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies Experience with
ISO 13485
environments
