Position Summary:
Senior Manufacturing Engineer
- Mankato, MN Our Senior Manufacturing Engineer leads continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a fully on-site role based in southern Minnesota and requires daily, in-person collaboration with production teams.

- buy decisions to optimize cost and efficiency Lead or support capital projects, product line transfers, lean initiatives, and robotic welding improvements Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sales teams Promote a positive culture, safe work environment, and respectful workplace Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Production Engineering (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with 3D drawings, process improvement, and capital projects Strong knowledge of automation and manufacturing systems Proven problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and corrective actions Strong collaboration and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Experience with lean manufacturing principles (5S, waste reduction, flow optimization) Proficiency in CAD/SolidWorks for 2D and 3D design Knowledge of ISO and AWS standards Experience working with ERP systems Tools & Equipment Proficiency with ERP systems, CAD/SolidWorks, and maintenance software Familiarity with manufacturing machinery, equipment, and measurement tools Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work performed on the production floor with exposure to noise, temperature changes, and mechanical equipment Required use of PPE including safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs IND123 Expected Behaviors All employees are expected to embody
