Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to support their Waseca, MN site on a contract basis. This opportunity involves providing expert pharmaceutical care within a long-term care setting. The role offers a consistent schedule with a moderate workload, ideal for a pharmacist looking to apply their skills in a specialized environment.
Location:
Waseca, MN Duration:
13+ weeks contract
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Some weekend shifts required 20-30 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Perform long-term care pharmacist duties, ensuring accurate dispensing and clinical management for residents Review medication orders and monitor patient therapy for safety and efficacy Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care plans Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Provide counseling and education to patients and caregivers when necessary
Qualifications:
Current pharmacist license in the state of Minnesota Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team This contract role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care within a specialty pharmacy setting while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule.
