Job Description
Description
- Interpret print and models, create CNC programs and set up machines to produce the component for Swiss or Milling machine centers
- Select cutting tools that will achieve cost effective tool life and fully utilize the tool
- Develop a process that is capable, cost effective and sustainable
- Write work instructions and procedures to support the process
- Full understanding of G-code
- Advocate and implement the highest quality standards and LEAN principles
- Assess and communicate technical specifications to all departments
- Identify and complete continuous improvement projects (Cycle time reduction & Perishable tooling selection and cost reduction)
- Create and coordinate engineering tests
- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure specification compliance
- Assist/or develop in the development of tool design and CNC programming
- Modify through change control, BOM/BOO within the ERP system
- Assist with all costing and quoting functions

- Resolve daily manufacturing issues per LEAN structure

Additional Skills & Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- 2•3 years of experience in technical field•Experience with CAD and CAM software•preferably Solid works, NX and Esprit•Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment, especially word and excel•Effective written and verbal communication skills•Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the design and selection of fixturing and tooling for complex parts
- Experience in a precision manufacturing shop environment
- LEAN / Six Sigma training and demonstrated application
- Experience working within an
ISO 13485
environment Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00
- $91500.
00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
