Job Description:
Manufacturing Engineer I
  • Assembly 24 months contract Onsite-Main plant-Fargo Metatarsals needed day 1
Shift:
1st shift Core hours 8am to 5pm, some flexibility if talent wants to start earlier Interviews
  • Via Teams
  • 1 round, 1 hour max
  • Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position.
  • Top 3 skillsets: Experience in Manufacturing processes Investigate issues and resolve Knowledge and experience with Manufacturing engineering processes Job responsibilities:
  • Serve as the manufacturing representative on customer teams supporting updates/releases to the Bill of Materials (BOM), processing change orders (ECO/MCO), and training production operators.
  • Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, quality plans, and labor standards for new and current parts or programs of moderate scope.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations. Investigate issues, analyze data, and implement solutions related to material flow, capacity, and productivity.
  • Innovate and implement Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity improvements of small to medium scope.
Utilize electronic tools across a broad range of applications.
Required Skills/Experiences:
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes: line and process design, cycles of imbalance, material presentation (Kanban), visual management (5S), and/or tooling design.
  • Knowledge of ergonomics and proper manufacturing safety techniques.
Knowledge of World Class Quality Systems/Methods:
ISO-9001, Six Sigma, DFM/DFA, FMEA and/or Mistake-Proofing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desired skills/experiences:
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Knowledge of Change Management Systems
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good Communication skills
Education:
  • B.
S Degree in Engineering and/or 4 plus years of related experience
