$75,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) Job Summary Riverview is building an in-house Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design team to support the long-term vision of our milk processing plant development. This is an early-career role for someone with a foundation in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing work who is ready to grow into ownership of design strategy and layouts on future plant work. You will learn about our operation through our current project, work alongside our outside engineering partners, and develop into a meaningful contributor on a newly formed design team. We are willing to invest in training the right person on the technology and tools — what matters most is the foundation you bring, the ownership you are willing to take, and the way you show up for the team. Key Responsibilities Learn and internalize Riverview's current milk processing plant work, building a working knowledge of scope, systems, and design intent. Support layouts and design documentation for future plant work, with increasing ownership over time. Work alongside outside engineering partners to absorb knowledge and build Riverview's internal design capabilities. Help develop internal design standards and processes that improve communication, efficiency, and turnaround speed. Identify opportunities to grow Riverview's internal design capabilities, with a focus on improving cost, speed, and quality outcomes. Participate actively as a founding member of the Riverview design team, helping shape how this team will operate and grow. Qualifications Foundational experience in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing discipline — whether through an engineering or design degree, drafting work, apprenticeship, or hands-on trade experience. Willing to learn Riverview's systems, culture, and way of working. Comfortable with hands-on work on our current construction site. Comfortable operating with autonomy and ambiguity in a new environment. Experience with plant design modeling software (CAD, Revit, or similar) is preferred, but we will train the right person.
