Experience a dynamic, collaborative culture where your ideas fuel progress and your work makes a meaningful impact on sustainability and technological excellence Position Summary Position Summary Under direct supervision, the Manufacturing Engineer I is an entry level role that assists with designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment. Supports the manufacture and assembly of new and existing Parker products typically in a single facility. Assists in developing improved manufacturing techniques, testing new systems and methods for efficiency, and planning assembly layouts to optimize production, quality, cost, and safety. Essential Functions Manufacturing Process Flow
- Assists in the planning and design of manufacturing processes to improve the manufacture and assembly of new and existing products. Helps determine equipment, and tooling needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product and quality specifications. Process Improvement
- Assists in developing and implementing process improvement projects that focus on manufacturing efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost. Engineering Design Support
- Provides input to more senior engineers regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Regulatory Compliance
- Helps ensure basic processes and procedures comply with regulations. Learns to apply frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Remediation
- Investigates quality issues, suggest and implements corrective action to ensure product quality.
