Job Description

Senior Project Engineer responsible for coordinating design and development activities from concept through production for actuator platforms incorporating embedded electrical and software systems. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 5-7 years of engineering or engineering project experience in a related industry. Experience supporting product development from concept through production. Experience managing or coordinating engineering projects across multiple workstreams. Experience with project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking. Experience with project management tools and basic scheduling methods. Experience with embedded electrical and software systems. Experience with Stage-Gate or similar product development processes. Experience performing project risk assessments and developing mitigation plans. Experience tracking engineering deliverables, actions, approvals, and project documentation. Experience developing and analyzing project KPIs. Knowledge of engineering standards, technical specifications, and product development requirements. Preferred Skills Experience with actuator platforms or electromechanical products. Experience coordinating electrical, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and supply chain activities. Experience developing KPI dashboards and project performance reporting. Experience maintaining audit-ready engineering and project records. Experience supporting continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives. Experience with requirements traceability and configuration-controlled development environments. Job Responsibilities Lead engineering projects from concept through production release. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements. Coordinate engineering activities across multiple actuator platforms. Track project progress and identify schedule, technical, resource, and execution risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation and corrective action plans. Manage Stage-Gate readiness, including entry and exit criteria, required artifacts, approvals, and traceability. Track project actions, decisions, deliverables, and closure status. Maintain engineering documentation and audit-ready project records. Develop KPI dashboards and analyze project performance data. Identify recurring project issues and recommend process or tool improvements. Oversee technical execution to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and related functions. Ensure electrical and software deliverables remain aligned with platform and feature requirements. Monitor project performance against technical, schedule, and budget objectives. Prepare project status, risk, milestone, and performance reporting for stakeholders and leadership. Support project reviews, technical reviews, and product development milestones.
