Job Description
Manufacturing Industrial Model Making Support work focuses on designing and building scale models of industrial products components and manufacturing equipment including: Analyzing engineering and industrial design specifications/drawings and translating those into digital models using computer-aided-design software (CAD/CAM/CAE). Determining the best approach to fabricating a complex model out of multiple pieces. Programming computer numeric control (CNC) machinery for subtractive modelling and/or 3D printing for additive modelling. Applying colors, textures, and graphics to simulate the look of the final product. A Support 4 requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
Responsibilities typically include:
Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex.Benefits
