X Facebook Pinterest Copy Link WhatsApp Email Share Share this job Facebook X LinkedIn Email Manufacturing Test Engineer Hudson, NH Apply for this job Test Engineer - Server Hardware Validation Position Overview The Test Engineer is responsible for leading advanced debug and validation efforts for Intel-based server motherboards. This role requires deep expertise in hardware diagnostics, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to drive improvements in validation processes, test strategies, and product quality. The ideal candidate will operate as a technical leader, collaborating across engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall system performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Lead root cause analysis and complex debug activities on server motherboard platforms Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, validation procedures, and scripts Collaborate with design, BIOS, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve product quality Drive improvements in first-pass yield and system reliability Identify and implement enhancements in test efficiency, automation, and workflows Develop tools or scripts to support test automation and validation processes Establish and promote best practices in test methodology and execution Mentor junior engineers and support team development Document findings, test results, and validation processes clearly and accurately Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field 10+ years of experience in hardware validation, system-level debug, or similar roles Strong expertise with Intel server architectures and platform features Hands-on experience with debug tools such as ITP, JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes Proven experience developing and executing comprehensive validation plans Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and technical documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or similar) for automation Experience in manufacturing test environments or high-volume production Familiarity with quality systems, reliability analysis, or Six Sigma methodologies Additional Information Highly technical, hands-on role with strong influence on product quality and validation strategy Opportunity to drive process improvements and innovation in test engineering Collaborative environment working across multiple engineering disciplines EOE (including Disability/Veterans) #HRUProfessional Apply for this job Copy link ✓ Thanks for sharing!
