Manufacturing Engineer (Swiss CNC)Salary:
$85,000 annually Manufacturing Engineer Job Summary Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong expertise in Swiss-style CNC machining to support precision manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role focused on process development, CNC programming, machine setup, and continuous improvement in a high-precision production environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Swiss-style lathes, machining processes, and manufacturing engineering principles, along with the ability to optimize production and train operators. Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer Develop and improve manufacturing processes for Swiss-style CNC machining operations Program CNC machines using M and G code Set up Swiss-style lathes and validate new programs (prove-outs) Select appropriate cutting tools, collets, guide bushings, and machining parameters Calculate feeds, speeds, cycle times, and surface finish requirements Interpret engineering drawings and technical prints to develop machining processes Optimize machining operations for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction Document manufacturing processes and create standard work procedures Train and support operators on machining processes and best practices Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve workflows and productivity Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience Strong CNC programming experience (Swiss-style lathe experience required) Proficiency in M and G code programming Solid understanding of machining principles (feeds, speeds, tooling, setups) Experience interpreting technical drawings and engineering prints CAD/CAM experience required (SolidWorks preferred) Strong problem-solving and process optimization skills Ability to train and mentor production operators Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred Manufacturing Engineer Benefits Competitive compensation package Medical, dental, and retirement benefits (may vary by assignment) Paid holidays and vacation eligibility Clean, precision-focused manufacturing environment Long-term career growth opportunities through Masis Staffing Solutions How to Apply If you are interested in this position, please submit your resume to be considered for this opportunity.
