About the role:
As a Project Engineer you will lead manufacturing projects from contract award through final delivery. We ask that you have close collaboration with teams-including supply chain, project controls, design, and quality engineering-to ensure successful execution of fabrication, machining, and inspection activities. You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at ington, NH. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret purchase orders, specifications, and engineering drawings to define manufacturing processes.
Develop and issue purchase requisitions for raw materials and components observing contract requirements.
Create detailed manufacturing flow charts and support project controls in developing production schedules.
Prepare shop travelers to guide fabrication, machining, and inspection operations.
Partner with operations teams on fixture design and process optimization.
Lead pre-job briefings on critical manufacturing tasks.
Investigate and resolve non-conformances in collaboration with other teams and external customers.
Provide on-the-floor technical support to operations, ensuring resolution of issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 2+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft and CAD software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Familiarity with CNC machining processes, welding technology, dimensional inspection, and NDE processes. We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year. #LI-Onsite Why Westinghouse?
