• Full-time We are seeking a Quality Engineer to lead and enhance quality systems within a manufacturing environment specializing in label and tag material rolls .

This role is responsible for ensuring product integrity from raw materials through finished goods, while driving continuous improvement across production and supplier quality. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in manufacturing quality, supplier development, and process improvement , along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) aligned with

ISO 9001

Lead supplier quality initiatives , including audits, evaluations, and corrective actions Apply PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodologies to improve incoming and outgoing quality Perform inspections and testing on raw materials (adhesives, substrates, inks, coatings) Monitor manufacturing processes such as printing, coating, slitting, and winding Analyze quality data using SPC (Statistical Process Control) and other statistical tools Drive root cause analysis using methods like 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and non-conformance tracking Ensure compliance with

ISO 9001, FDA

(if applicable), and environmental standards Investigate customer complaints and returns , implementing corrective actions Train production staff on quality standards and continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen) Support new product introductions (NPI) and process validation Conduct internal audits and drive process improvements Qualifications Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and material specifications Experience with SPC, statistical analysis, and quality data trending Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Experience with supplier quality and audits Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Hands-on experience with testing equipment (adhesion testing, color measurement, thickness gauges) Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field

OR Preferred:

Experience in label, printing, flexible packaging, or coatings industry

Certifications:

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Six Sigma Green Belt ISO Auditor 5+ years of experience in within manufacturing
