Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Mahwah, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is an individual contributor role responsible for the technical execution of capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through production release. Working closely with Project Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, and external suppliers, this position serves as the technical validation lead, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule while meeting safety, quality, and operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

Support Project Managers in the execution of capital projects by coordinating activities and tracking action items

Work with equipment SMEs on design reviews, vendor management, installation, andmissioning

Assist with equipment installations, FAT/SAT, and validation activities

Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues

Maintain project documentation andmunicate with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• 0-2 years of engineering experience (internships and co-op experience considered)
• Strongmunication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn project management and manufacturing processes

Desired skills:

Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, engineering, or project-based work

Experience working in a team environment through school projects or internships

Exposure to manufacturing processes, automation, or robotics

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles

Experience using Microsoft Project, Excel, or other project management tools

PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project management certifications

Pay range: $31.37 - $41.37 per hour
